I-FIM’s Directors and Researchers Recognised as Best Scientists in Materials Science by Research.com

I-FIM directors have gained noteworthy recognition in the field of Materials Science research. According to Research.com’s 2023 Ranking of Best Scientists in Materials Science, Professor Konstantin Novoselov has earned the impressive rank of #57 globally and #3 in Singapore, along with the Materials Science Leader Award for 2023. Additionally, Professor Antonio Castro Neto has achieved a rank of #257 in the world and #8 in Singapore. The ranking also features several I-FIM researchers, namely Professor Lim Chwee Teck, Professor Barbaros Özyilmaz, Professor Lu Jiong, and Dr. Alexandra Carvalho.

The ranking includes a total of 68 researchers from the National University of Singapore in the Materials Science discipline, with 18 of them also being listed in the global ranking. The combined D-index values for the top scientists from the National University of Singapore totals 5,135.
