NRF Fellowship 2025 Awarded to I-FIM PI Asst Prof Denis Bandurin

I-FIM proudly congratulates Assistant Professor Denis Bandurin, Principal Investigator at the Institute for Functional Intelligent Materials, on being awarded the National Research Foundation (NRF) Fellowship, Class of 2025. The Fellowship recognises outstanding early-career researchers and supports them in establishing independent research programmes in Singapore.

Asst Prof Bandurin received the award for his research on dimensionality reduction in novel superconductors, which may contribute to advances in quantum sensors and probabilistic computing. His group at I-FIM studies quantum materials at the nanoscale and examines their interactions with infrared and terahertz radiation, contributing to deeper understanding of emergent quantum behaviours.

This recognition highlights the growing impact of Asst Prof Bandurin’s work and reflects I-FIM’s commitment to advancing frontier research in quantum materials.
