Biography
Syed Ali Abbas Abedi is a Research Fellow at I-FIM, NUS. His research combines quantum chemical methods and machine learning to study excited-state processes and structure-property relationships across molecular and solid-state systems, with a focus now on the computational design of functional intelligent materials. He received his Ph.D. from the Singapore University of Technology and Design (2024) and also holds an M.S. in Applied Mathematics.
