Biography
Denis Baranov is serving as the Technical Manager for the Advanced Microscopy Lab. His is responsible for overseeing AFM operations, leading user training, swift issue resolution, managing resource allocation, staying head in AFM innovations, managing equipment upgrades, and strategic preventive maintenance. Furthermore, he is facilitating high-impact research by promoting the use of AFM resources in both internal and external collaborative projects, provide expertise and guidance on AFM-related research, helping drive innovation and breakthrough results. His research interests include scanning probe methods, ultra high vacuum measurements, low temperature measurements, superconductors, topological insulators, ferromagnetics and graphene.
